5 Tapas To Try When You Visit Spain

At every meal I had with friends while in Spain, we always shared a few tapas. Tapas are a wide variety of appetizers shared among all members at the table. What I really like about the tapas dining concept is how everyone is dining together experiencing the same dishes; it brings you closer together while having a conversation at the table. It’s made into a full meal that you share together. Here are my favourites that I recommend to try.

Jamon – Spanish Ham

Croquetas – fried with breadcrumb coating and various ingredients such as potato, veggies, and cheese

Paella – bed of rice with veggies and meat

Churros – a fried dough pastry eaten for breakfast or as a snack

Fresh shellfish from Spain’s coastal waters
