The Alhambra is located on a hilltop in the city of Granada in Andalusia. It was once a fortress and palace of dominance; today it is a Moorish artistic-historical place for visitors to admire. What I admired most when I visited was the “generalife” – gardens featuring large pools and courtyards with fountains everywhere spouting out water in all different types of fountain structures. You have the option of exploring it on your own with a headset or you can be part of a guided tour. The views outside the palace walls of the city of Granada were breathtaking!
